Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time
opportunity is available for a Listening and Spoken Language
Specialist Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist (LSLS Cert. AVT) to
provide specialized AVT services within a school setting located in
Los Angeles, CA. This contract position requires an experienced
provider who holds the nationally recognized LSLS Cert. AVT
certification along with an active state license in their
discipline, such as Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, or
Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH). Key
Responsibilities: Conduct assessments to determine the ongoing need
for Auditory Verbal Therapy services for students. Deliver AVT
sessions once a month, each lasting 60 minutes, to support students
listening and spoken language development. Collaborate with
educational staff and families to optimize student progress.
Maintain compliance with state licensure and national certification
requirements. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current LSLS
Cert. AVT nationally recognized certification. Valid state license
in SLP, Audiology, or TDHH discipline. Experience working in school
environments supporting children with hearing loss. Strong
assessment skills and ability to tailor therapy based on student
needs. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Location and Schedule: Onsite position in Los Angeles, CA
(specifically Rowland Heights area). Part-time commitment,
attending 1 session per month for 60 minutes. Contract role through
June 5, 2026, with an ASAP start date. This role offers the
opportunity to impact the lives of children through specialized
auditory-verbal therapy within an educational community. Qualified
professionals who meet the certification and licensure requirements

important position. Compensation for this position ranges from
$47.53 to $67.53. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare
