Overview
Under general supervision and following specific instructions and well-defined procedures, performs costing, general accounting and ad hoc tasks.

Expected salary range: $62,400 - 68,000/year
Responsibilities

• 
  
• Gather and compile cost information from labor data, vendor quotes, and current raw material prices.
  
• Provide assistance in the implementation of cost management processes and use of appropriate costing methodologies to determine and report costs of goods sold, inventory and labor usage
  
• Assist in reviewing, analyzing and establishing standard labor and overhead rates
  
• Accounts payable and receivable process, month end closing and other Accounting related tasks and processes
  
• Provide assistance in payroll processing
  
• Understand relevant process work instructions
  
• Performs other duties as assigned or required
  
  Qualifications
  Education and Experience:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
    
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in costing or general accounting
    
  • Manufacturing industry experience a plus -
    
    Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    
    • 
      
    • Advanced Skills in Microsoft Excel
      
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
      
    • Must be detailed oriented and comfortable working with large data sets
      
    • Must have good communication skills, both written and oral
      
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality

      • Must be able to lift 10 pounds
        
      • Minimal physical effort required
        
      • Regularly required to sit or stand, reach and move about the work area
        
        Work Environment:

        • Work performed in an office environment, but may require visits to the manufacturing floor
          
        • Minimal exposure to metals, lubricants, solvents and electrolyte
          
        • Professional environment requiring business casual attire
