Job Description:
A company is looking for a Mortgage Customer Outreach Specialist
II responsible for collecting on delinquent mortgage loans.
Key Responsibilities
Initiate contact with consumers in default on their mortgage loans
to collect past due payments while ensuring compliance with laws
and regulations
Collect financial information, assess repayment ability, and
arrange repayment plans or referrals as necessary
Analyze account files to determine appropriate actions, including
potential referrals to foreclosure
Required Qualifications
A combined 3 years of higher education and/or work experience, with
at least 1 year in collections or customer service
Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
Experience in negotiation
Familiarity with skip tracing software and servicing systems is
preferred
A bachelor's degree is preferred
