driving the business? The Card Customer Engagement team encompasses
all these and more. As an Associate in the Card Customer Engagement
team, you will take the ownership in developing underwriting
strategies for various lending initiatives including Balance
Transfer, Rate Sale, and Card Installment programs like My Chase
Plan, My Chase Loan and Others. You would leverage wealth of
internal and external data as well as state-of-the-art models to
identify existing credit card customers that fall within our risk
framework and target them for various lending offers.Job
Responsibilities Candidate will have direct ownership and
accountability of initiatives for one or more portfolio lending
strategies for Balance Transfer, Rate Sale, My Chase Plan, My Chase
Loan, Promotional Financing and others. This includes oversight of
eligibility rules, strategy segmentations, and financial
assessment. Candidate will work together with multiple business
partners to implement changes to the strategy, and communicate
performance and future expectations to multiple levelsDevelop and
apply mathematical or statistical theory using analytic tools (SAS,
SQL etc.) to collect, organize, interpret, and summarize numerical
data sets from multiple sources to develop the best-in-class risk
strategy.Responsible for recognizing opportunities and enhancements
to existing strategies to improve overall financial performance,
customer experience and execution qualityDesign, implement, track,
and report on new strategies in a Test vs. Control environment.
Follow a disciplined analysis approach to ensure recommendations
taken to Senior Management result in correct decisionsEffectively
develop and communicate creative solutions to business unit
managementWork with execution team to implement, validate, and
monitor the strategy quality and its performance; ensure robust
control and governance to manage operational riskHelp spearhead
best in class documentation and audit controls surrounding
portfolio lending strategiesDevelop and maintain comprehensive
controls to ensure processes are executing as designed and perform
root cause analysis on trends against these strategies and
processes. Where issues arise, must be able to recommend and
implement appropriate resolutionsRequired Qualifications,
Capabilities, and Skills2 years of risk management, financial
services, analytics or consulting experienceStrong written and
verbal communication skills, including ability to present findings
to Senior ManagementExperience partnering across different
functions and possess independent decision-making skillsSAS, SQL,
and statistical analysis experience preferredBachelor's or Advanced
degree in a relevant discipline like Statistics, Economics,
