Job Description Job Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Upland, California. In this role, you will handle a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting the organization’s accounting processes. Responsibilities: • Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records. • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure discrepancies are resolved promptly. • Perform cash reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial transactions. • Manage and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded. • Utilize QuickBooks to process and monitor accounting activities efficiently. • Generate detailed financial reports for review and analysis. • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting workflows and processes. • Analyze financial data to identify trends and assist in decision-making. • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures to meet deadlines.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred. • A minimum of two years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting support roles. • Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential. • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. • Strong understanding of general ledger activity, including debits and credits. • Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize workload. • A proactive and collaborative team player who demonstrates initiative and eagerness to learn.
