Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for contributing to the marketing and sales of
MathWorks engineering products for small self-contained projects;
assisting on customer technical engineering presentations regarding
the use of engineering software products to support the sales
process; using existing software product models and simulations to
demonstrate the use of MathWorks MATLAB and Simulink products for
engineering, control design, system modeling and non-complex
customer opportunities; assisting senior team members in
engagements with prospective and existing customers to understand
their workflow and identifying relevant MathWorks engineering
solutions; and developing customer scripts to demonstrate how
MathWorks engineering software addresses customer needs. Requires
domestic/international travel based on company/client need
(approximately 30%). Education and Experience: Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely
related field (or foreign education equivalent) and no
experience. OR Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely
related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years
of experience as an Application Engineer (or related occupation)
writing algorithms for AI and signal processing. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise programming in MATLAB and Simulink; and
performing real-time modeling and simulation of physical system and
control system design using MATLAB and Simulink. Demonstrated expertise developing presentations and technical
reports in engineering topics for scientific review, and presenting
work at conferences and technical workshops. Demonstrated expertise developing and delivering technical
demonstrations on the use of mathematical simulation technologies
in the simulation of physical systems, machine learning algorithm
development, or signal processing. Demonstrated expertise guiding and teaching engineers or
engineering students to model and analyze a physical engineering
system using MATLAB simulation software. [Expertise may be gained during Graduate program.] Salary range: $120,700.00 to $140,000.00. Individual
compensation is determined by candidates skills, experience, and
