Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A dynamic
opportunity is available for certified Speech Language Pathologists
to support K-12 students in the Baltimore area of Maryland. This
contract position offers a chance to work in diverse school
settings, including community preschools, elementary, and middle
schools, delivering essential speech and language services to
students from preschool through eighth grade. Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy to preschool, elementary, and
middle school students. Deliver services across multiple settings:
community preschool programs, Magnolia Elementary, Prospect Mill
Elementary, and Aberdeen Middle School. Supervise Speech Language
Pathology Assistants (SLP-A) in accordance with service
requirements. Collaborate with school teams to support student
communication goals. Maintain compliance with all district
credentialing requirements, including House Bill 486 background
checks and fingerprinting. Qualifications: Active Maryland
Professional Licensure in Speech Language Pathology. CCC
certification preferred. Experience working with pediatric
populations in school settings, including preschool to middle
school age groups. Ability to manage caseloads across multiple
locations with itinerant service delivery. Strong organizational
and communication skills to coordinate with educators and families.
Eligibility to meet time-sensitive credentialing and district
employment history standards. Work Schedule and Assignment Details:
Contract duration spans the 20252026 school year, with potential to
extend into Extended School Year (ESY) services in July 2026.
Positions available include full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday
through Friday) and part-time (30 hours per week, Monday through
Thursday, with optional Friday coverage). Assignments vary by
location and days per week as follows: Community Preschool: 5
days/week itinerant. Magnolia Elementary: 3 days/week. Prospect
Mill Elementary: 2 days/week. Aberdeen Middle School: 45 days/week
with supervision responsibilities. This role offers the rewarding
