Title: Electrical Engineering ManagerLocation: Poway, CA - Hybrid remote work schedule. This role requires up to 15% to travel to the US and possibly globalSalary: $150,000- $170,000 + Profit Sharing + Full BenefitsWe are a leading manufacturer of semiconductor test and inspection equipment. We were founded in the 50s and have locations throughout the globe. Our location in Southern California yields over $240M in revenue each year.What You Will Be Doing

• Apply your specialized electrical engineering training/expertise in the design and development of automation control solutions and machine design of semiconductor test handling equipment
• Evaluate all project requirements and work with PMs to determine project scope. You will also staff and assign engineers to projects
• Serve as technical resource and mentor to EE team at our Poway location
• Participate in the new design review process with key stakeholders
• Adhere to the Product Development Process (PDP) to ensure the achievement of high-quality standards and program objectives
• Provide leadership, coaching, guidance, mentoring, training, and performance management to ensure retention, growth, and development of electrical engineering team members and direct reports.What You Need for this Position
  • BS Degree or better in an Electrical Engineering or related field
  • You should have advanced knowledge of electro/mechanical/automation engineering
  • Minimum of 7+years of related electrical engineering experience in factory automation hardware, including experience with the design, development, and test of electrical equipment
  • You need to have prior experience managing an electrical engineering team
  • Motion control experience in an industrial environment is highly preferredWhat's In It for You
