to life.2nd Shift 3pm to 11:30pm (Mon-Fri)The role Mechanic II is
responsible for performing a variety of skilled mechanic work to
set up production equipment, perform preventive maintenance,
lubrication of equipment, and minor mechanical and facilities
repair. The incumbent shall implement best practices to sustain
asset reliability by participating on root cause analysis of all
equipment failures. Key ResponsibilitiesCritical contributions this
role is counted on to deliver include:Troubleshoot and identify the
causes of unexpected equipment breakdowns.Performs routine
preventive maintenance on mechanical and/or electrical equipment
such as making regular inspections and lubricating
parts.Participates on root cause analysis and repairs all packaging
and facilities equipment i.e; mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and
automation systems to improve operational efficiencies and
uptime.Completes efficient equipment set-ups per the daily
packaging scheduleTracks and completes all equipment work orders
and preventative maintenance work to ensure OSHA & FDA compliance
inputting completed work into JDEFabricate parts to perform repairs
and integrate new equipment installations to existing packaging
linesClean, organize, and otherwise maintain shop areas, parts,
tools, and supplies in compliance with 5S requirements.Uses hand
tools, potable power tools, machine tools, electrical/diagnostic
equipmentIdeal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate is responsible
for maintaining equipment efficiencies and extending the life of
existing manufacturing, packaging, and facilities assets. Works
well in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency to deliver
results. Implements best practices to sustain asset reliability by
participating on root cause analysis of all equipment

dealing with stressful situations and attention to detailPrevious
experience in a manufacturing environment or an FDA regulated
industryA continuous improvement mindset that ensures
corrective/preventative actions are implemented to maintain
equipment functionality and reliabilityProactive approach to
resolving unplanned equipment downtime and preventative
measuresDemonstrated knowledge in preventive maintenance
administrative and electronics computerized records i.e., JDE, SAP,
etc.Capabilities & Skills RequiredIn order to take on these
challenges, you ll need to have:A High School Diploma or GED is
required. Some vocational or community college with related
coursework or equivalent experience, preferred.Demonstrated
knowledge of the computerized maintenance management systemStrong
ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and automation
systems in a team setting to improve equipment performance.Critical
thinking skills for problem solving and troubleshooting equipment
related issuesFluent English skills to read/understand maintenance
manuals, safety procedures, research technical publications for
information, communicate with supervisors and others, and maintain

$89,995.00This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range
for this role, plus annual incentive.
