Job Description:
A company is looking for a Staff Backend Engineer, Video
Enablement.
Key Responsibilities
Architect, code, and support video features across the video
pipeline stack, including live video ingestion and playback
Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and Product Manager to
refine the strategic roadmap for video technology
Lead and mentor other engineers while developing internal SDKs and
frameworks for video integration
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience building scalable video pipelines in cloud
environments
Background in video and audio streaming with a focus on
live-streaming of user-generated content
Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in
the video space, such as C#/Golang/C++/Rust/Python
Experience designing and building internal APIs/SDKs for rapid
feature development
Hands-on experience with video players and familiarity with mobile
video broadcasting challenges
