Job Description Job Description Job Title: Wiring Assembler Job Description We are seeking a skilled Wiring Assembler to join our team. This role involves operating tools and equipment common to the wiring trade, reading and interpreting documents associated with wiring assignments, and maintaining the work area to ensure safe working conditions. Responsibilities Operate tools and equipment such as wire strippers, pliers, crimpers, and power tools. Scan in and out of work orders using computers and scanning devices. Read and interpret schematics and wiring lists. Gather wires, parts, and accessories needed for the wiring process. Mark wires with identifying information or attach identifying tags. Attach proper wire/cable terminal connectors. Bundle wires and fasten with straps or tape. Mount fuse blocks and rails on doors, pans, or other assemblies. Install, route, and connect wires/cables according to specifications. Disconnect and reconnect wires/cables to make adjustments or corrections. Perform some assembly using mechanic tools and blueprints. Report non-conforming items like fabricated parts or schematics. Clean and maintain equipment and work area. Perform other work as directed by supervision. Essential Skills Basic computer skills. Use of basic mechanical and electrical tools. Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English. Ability to reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy material. Ability to make coordinated movements of the hands and arms. Ability to stoop, bend, squat, crawl, and climb. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age. Troubleshooting, harnessing, and plugging capabilities. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a climate-controlled facility with the possibility of training on the first shift (Monday to Friday, 5 AM to 1:30 PM) and moving to the second shift (Monday to Friday, 4 PM to 12:30 AM) after the contract period of 12.5 weeks. Overtime is voluntary, with sign-up sheets available in advance. Saturdays may become mandatory if additional coverage is needed to meet production goals. Common safety equipment is required, including cut-resistant gloves, safety shoes, safety glasses, and ear plugs. Be prepared to work indoors with exposure to loud noises and the possibility of bumps, cuts, scrapes, and strains. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pomona, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
