As the Dementia Care expert at Belmont Village Sabre Springs CA,
you will directly manage a team of dementia caregivers and activity
assistants while providing guidance, support and dementia education
to employees, residents and their families. Prior comparable
experience managing a large team of caregivers and extensive
knowledge in dementia care and dementia programs is strongly
preferred.
Salary range: 75,000 - 80,000
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of all dementia caregivers and dementia activity
leaders
- Conducts advanced Alzheimer's / dementia training for all staff &
is the community dementia expert.
- Conducts cognitive assessments on prospective & current residents
translating outcomes to service plans related to care &
programming.
- Works collaboratively with community management, regional &
corporate support teams.
- Effectively communicates with, educates & offers support to
resident family members as needed.
