Doctor of Medicine | Other Location: San Diego, CA Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 9 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Radiology Thoracic Physician Join our innovative healthcare team as a Radiology Thoracic Physician, where your expertise will make a meaningful impact on patient care through advanced thoracic and cardiac imaging. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital setting, leveraging your radiology skills to interpret complex cases and contribute to accurate diagnoses, all while enjoying flexible scheduling and competitive compensation. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret 10-12 thoracic and cardiac imaging cases daily, including radiographs, CT, and MRI. Utilize EPIC EMR system for case documentation and management. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure precise diagnosis and optimal patient outcomes. Maintain licensure and stay updated on current radiology practices, especially in thoracic and cardiac imaging. Required Skills: Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Radiology. Valid California medical license. Strong proficiency in chest imaging modalities, including CT, MRI, and plain films. Experience with EPIC EMR or similar electronic medical record systems. Excellent analytical, communication, and collaborative skills. Nice to Have Skills: Expertise in cardiac imaging, such as cardiac CT and MRI. Previous experience working in a hospital setting. Knowledge of thoracic radiography procedures. Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Completion of radiology residency with specialized training in thoracic imaging. Minimum of 2 years post-training clinical experience. Other Requirements: Must be licensed to practice in California. Ability to work full-time, with flexibility for week-per-month or per diem schedules. Willingness to commit to a 6-month contract starting March 16, 2026.
