Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Oncology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/10/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN with a current CA license and inpatient chemotherapy administration expertise for a hospital-based oncology unit. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in an inpatient oncology unit with a patient population of adolescents, adults, and geriatrics - Specialty care for blood disorders and cancer, including chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and CAR T-cell therapy - Three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM - Weekend rotation required with four weekend shifts per month (Friday-Sunday) - Float to other units as needed - Uses Epic EMR; prior experience required - Responsible for direct patient care, managing complex oncology treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team - Mentor and support staff while ensuring patient and workplace safety - Thirty-six hours of orientation provided - Caribbean blue scrubs required and not provided by the unit - First-time travelers will be considered if experience requirements are met /n /n Requirements/n - Active California RN license required - BLS and ACLS certifications required - Chemotherapy (CHEMO) certification required - Minimum of three years of oncology nursing experience required, with hematology experience preferred - Experience in inpatient oncology and administration of chemotherapy required - Epic EMR experience required /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-660002.
