Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience. • 12 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months. • Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a California license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. • COVID vaccination required for submission. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: 2 Telemetry experience. 2 years of directly related RN experience in area of specialty. Previous Charge Experience Skills: MS/Tele, Med/Surg, Telemetry, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Telemetry - remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Post MI, IV insulin protocols, Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Feeding tube care and management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Heparin, Insulin, PCA, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Pre/Post neurosurgery, Traumatic Brain injury, Total joint replacement, Surgical drains, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen administration, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac.
