Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a CVOR
setting. First-time travelers are accepted. Candidates must float
based on departmental needs. Weekend coverage is required for 1-2
weekends per month. Candidates must be on-call based on
departmental needs. Documentation experience in EPIC is required.
Description: This position requires a CVOR RN to provide
high-quality nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room.
Candidates should have experience with diverse surgical procedures,
including coronary artery bypass graft, valve replacements, and
endovascular surgeries. Key skills include administering conscious
sedation, monitoring cardiac status, and handling blood products.
The role involves adherence to infection control protocols and
safety procedures. Candidates should demonstrate strong assessment
skills and be able to effectively communicate with
interdisciplinary teams. Successful candidates will need to manage
patient care from pre-operative assessment through post-operative
recovery. Float requirements may require staffing support
