DescriptionRate of pay: $30/hrOrganize and oversee the various
outlets. Ensure quality of food, beverage, service, and ambiance.
Maintain proper staffing and timeliness of various outlets.Job
responsibilities include, although are not limited to:
- Operate within Forbes 5-star standards and hold team
accountable to these standards daily.
- Display a congenial appearance and be well-groomed at all
times.
- Assist the department manager in developing, implementing, and
maintaining outlet service standards.
- Train staff both in groups and one-on-one to emphasize service
standards, safety, and product knowledge.
- Coordinate all service staff for all meal periods during
shifts.
- Monitor setup and maintenance of the department to ensure all
side work is completed.
- Perform administrative functions as required and communicate
with the department manager as needed.
- Work safely at all times and follow all safety procedures
outlined in the Standards of Conduct and Loss Prevention
Manual.
- Maintain knowledge of the food and beverage menus offered in
the outlets.
- Correctly identify guests when ordering alcohol at tables or at
the bar.
- Conduct safety awareness topics as needed.
- Assist in organizing back-of-house storage areas, offices,
liquor rooms, and beer coolers.Qualifications
- Ability to prioritize workload.
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability.
- At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant or
bar environment.
- Excellent telephone etiquette.
- Exceptional guest recovery skills.
- Strong Micros knowledge and experience.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Effective presentation and response skills for groups of
managers, clients, and the public.
