We are an inclusive team of unique individuals who show up each day with a grateful spirit, humble heart, and a genuine respect for one another. ­The Banquet Captain at Meadowlark Golf Club is to assist in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of banquet and event operations regarding Banquet Staff alognide the club's Events Manager. This role requires a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional with strong leadership skills and the ability to ensure seamless execution of events, from setup to breakdown. Responsibilities: Collaborate with event planners, clients, and internal teams to understand event requirements and expectations. Supervise banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and support staff. Provide clear instructions and guidance to ensure the team delivers exceptional service. Oversee the setup and breakdown of banquet spaces, ensuring proper placement of tables, chairs, linens, and decorations. Conduct pre-event inspections to ensure all details are in place. Interact with clients and guests to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded. Address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally. Train and mentor banquet staff on service standards, procedures, and customer interaction. Conduct pre-event briefings to communicate event details and expectations. Monitor the quality of food and beverage service to ensure it meets or exceeds standards. Open Communication with the Chef and Events Manager through events Read and follow the BEO, Timeline, and Floorplan Ensure Banquet Staff abides by the schedule Qualifications: Previous experience as a Banquet Captain or in a similar role in the hospitality industry. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Team Member Lifestyle Perks!
