You’ll be a member of our centralized UX team and report to the
Senior Manager of Design. What youll do as a Lead Product Designer
at Proof: Own the end-to-end design for features in Proof’s
business products, which benefit self-serve customers and promote
their activation in our products, as well as large, established
enterprise customers with complex workflows and use cases.
Wireframe, design, and prototype significant features in Figma that
address needs of large customers, identity verification agents, and
consumers with a variety of workflows and use cases. Iterate
quickly to generate ideas, achieve a high level of quality and
consistency, and work within our design system while pushing our
visual design language forward. Design accessible, responsive
experiences. Lead cross-functional discussions with product
managers, engineers, and stakeholders to help clarify goals, define
the problem you’re solving, and brainstorm solutions with team
members. Partner with PMs and engineers to align on scope and
ensure high quality launches. Delegate to and collaborate with
other designers to see your vision through to a positive end
result. Design compelling north star visions that the team can
align to, and that can actively influence prioritization of
investments in biannual roadmap planning. Address users’ pain
points while balancing business goals. Lead UX research and
customer calls to better define the user journey. Collaborate with
our Principal UX Researcher to drive forward strategic research.

with other designers and UX engineering. Build and help maintain
components in our shared component library. Identify UI
improvements and partner with UX engineering to bring them to
fruition. Keep up with design best practices and make
recommendations for evolving our visual design. Partner with
go-to-market teams to bring critical customer- and prospect-facing
assets to life, such as product prototypes, workflow diagrams, and
marketing-friendly product mockups. Set a strong example for the
rest of the design team in your design process. Showcase what being
a lead product designer means through your sketches, file
organization, research, presentations, and more. Collaborate with
other UX team members by providing feedback in weekly design
critiques, delegating tasks on cross-team projects, and sharing
your expertise. Bring new tools, best practices, and processes to
the design team in order to make everyone more effective. What were
looking for: You are highly skilled in product design. At Proof,
our product designers are responsible for full-stack designing,
from initial discovery to concept ideation to final visual designs.
You express your thinking at varying levels of fidelity – from hand
sketches to high fidelity mockups. You use prototyping as a tool
for concept testing and vision-setting. You have strong experience
in designing complex B2B products. You’ve designed for a
multi-sided marketplace or multiple user types in a single
ecosystem, and have experience building 0 ? 1 products. You are
able to balance the UX complexities of large sets of information
and multi-step flows with beautiful, intuitive UI design. You’ve
tackled enough complex interaction design problems before that you
are able to hit the ground running on new projects. You are
comfortable pivoting quickly if business needs change or if new
information is presented. You can balance different user needs and
business priorities, and you can pull together concepts and iterate
on designs based on feedback or changing scope. You are comfortable
context switching and working across problem areas. You can
prioritize your work strategically, balancing long- and short-term
projects simultaneously and working with multiple engineers, PMs,
and stakeholders. You understand the importance of accessibility in
your designs. It’s part of your design process to make sure that
your designs are accessible, and to make sure all designs that are
shipped are accessible. You set a good example for the rest of the
team when it comes to accessible designs. You have experience
contributing to a design system and working within the guidance of
a design system. You’ve built reusable components in Figma that
have been used by your teammates, and you have an interest in this
