About the Role: We are seeking an exceptionally seasoned and strategic Senior Director, Product to lead and scale critical, high-impact product organizations that are foundational to our platforms evolution and market leadership. This pivotal role will oversee multiple, high-performing product teams, driving comprehensive cross-functional alignment and definitively shaping our overarching product strategy. You will be instrumental in ensuring disciplined execution and delivering measurable outcomes that directly empower enterprise brands to solve their most complex challenges in customer engagement, hyper-personalization, and marketing automation. This will involve leveraging cutting-edge AI-powered decisioning, real-time personalization, and sophisticated data-driven orchestration across a diverse set of channels and customer touchpoints. As a key leader, you will contribute significantly to the future direction of our product portfolio and the growth of our product organization. Responsibilities : • Strategic Product Leadership: Define and articulate a compelling, multi-year product strategy and vision for key product organizations, ensuring alignment with audacious company goals and market opportunities. • Organizational Scaling & Development: Lead multiple product organizations responsible for defining and delivering high-impact features and platform capabilities. This includes recruiting, developing, and mentoring a world-class team of product leaders and managers, fostering their growth, and instilling a pervasive sense of ownership, accountability, and unwavering customer orientation that scales across the organization. • Operational Excellence: Establish and optimize clear operating rhythms that prioritize strategic focus, foster a bias toward action, and accelerate speed to market, all while upholding exceptional product quality and delivering transformative customer outcomes. Drive the adoption of best practices in product discovery, development, and go-to-market. • Cross-Functional & Executive Partnership: Forge robust, strategic partnerships with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Go-to-Market, and other Product teams to ensure deep alignment, coordinated execution, and a unified product vision across the organization. Articulate and champion product strategy, progress, and critical trade-offs with exceptional clarity to senior leadership, executive stakeholders, and the broader organization, influencing key decisions and securing buy-in. • Innovation & AI/ML Advancement: Champion AI-powered personalization strategies that enhance relevance and user engagement across various content creation and channel experiences (e.g., email, push, in-app, SMS, WhatsApp, RCS). Oversee the definition and delivery of innovative, data-driven solutions that translate complex data assets into actionable marketing products. • Customer & Market Obsession: Deeply engage with customers and internal stakeholders to uncover pain points, surface insights, understand customer personas and use cases, and prioritize high-impact product features and enhancements that drive significant business and customer value. • Execution & Delivery Oversight: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle for your domain, from concept and requirements definition (including user testing and data analysis) to launch and post-launch optimization, ensuring scalable and reliable solutions are consistently delivered. • Market & Competitive Intelligence: Research industry trends, including messaging compliance and emerging technologies, to identify new product features and opportunities that position us for competitive advantage. • Thought Leadership: Contribute to the company’s leadership culture through strong storytelling, serving as a voice of the customer, driving robust cross-organizational collaboration, modeling systems thinking, and delivering executional excellence. Qualifications : • 10 years of progressive product management experience, with a minimum of 5 years in senior leadership roles overseeing multiple product domains, distinct product lines, or a significant platform area. • Proven ability to lead, scale, and transform multiple product organizations or complex platform initiatives, consistently delivering clear, measurable business outcomes and fostering a culture of innovation. • Exceptional cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills; demonstrated ability to build and nurture strong, strategic partnerships across Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market, Data Science, and Design to achieve ambitious goals. • Deep domain expertise in MarTech, SaaS, or complex enterprise software environments is highly preferred, demonstrating a clear understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in customer engagement and marketing automation. • Proven experience defining and delivering cutting-edge AI/ML-powered personalization, decisioning, or data-driven automation products that have driven significant customer value and competitive advantage. • Extensive experience defining and executing sophisticated data platform strategies that effectively translate complex data assets into actionable marketing products, driving significant business value through advanced personalization, segmentation, and cross-channel activation. • Mastery of executive-level communication, nuanced trade-off management, and influential stakeholder leadership, capable of navigating complex organizational dynamics and securing consensus across various levels. • Strong organizational design instincts with a proven track record of scaling high-performing teams, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation. • Proven experience in global or geographically distributed team leadership and development, demonstrating success in fostering collaboration and performance across diverse time zones. • Strong technical fluency, comfortable discussing APIs, SDKs, platform tradeoffs, and collaborating effectively with engineering teams. • A bias for action, clarity, and consistently delivering exceptional customer value and business impact. • Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in using data to drive decisions (e.g., SQL, Excel, Looker). Within this range, individual pay is determined by specific US work location, as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and internal equity considerations. Please note that the range listed above reflects only base salary. The total compensation package includes variable pay (where applicable), equity, plus a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and financial. In addition, we offer perks such as generous stipends for health & fitness and learning & development, among others.
