Job Description:
Shoup Legal is seeking a skilled Estate Planning Attorney to
join our dynamic team. This role involves advising clients on
estate planning, trust administration, and related legal matters to
secure their financial futures. The ideal candidate will have a
strong background in estate law, demonstrate superior client
service skills, and possess a deep understanding of the tax
implications of various estate planning strategies. Draft, review,
and execute legal documents including wills, trusts, powers of
attorney, and deeds. Advise clients on estate planning options and
strategies tailored to their individual needs and financial
situations. Conduct client meetings to establish client goals and
propose appropriate legal and financial strategies. Collaborate
with tax advisors and financial planners to ensure comprehensive
estate strategies. Stay informed on the latest changes in
legislation affecting estate planning and communicate these changes
effectively to clients and team members. Handle estate and probate
litigation issues, as required, to defend client interests.
Proficiency in legal research and estate planning software. Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of
a team. Detailed knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to
estate planning and taxes. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current bar membership in the
state of practice is essential. Certified as a specialist in estate
planning, trust, and probate law is highly desirable.
