Technician — First Shift (Full-Time After Probation) We are a
leading OEM machinery manufacturer serving the Wire & Cable
industry. Our facility is home to multiple key departments,
including Fabrication, Metal Prep, Electrical, Welding, Assembly,

and skilled Prep & Paint Technician with at least 1 year of
hands-on experience in grinding, surface preparation, and painting
of steel frame machinery. This role requires a strong attention to
detail, effective organization, and a solid understanding of paint
and preparation techniques. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated
self-starter who takes initiative, works independently with minimal
supervision, and consistently delivers high-quality results. Key
Responsibilities: Grind, prepare, and paint steel machinery frames
and components Perform surface preparation, masking, sanding, and
finishing operations Mix and apply paint and coatings accurately
and safely Maintain a clean, organized work area and manage
materials efficiently Understand and follow paint preparation
procedures and safety practices Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in grinding, preparing, and
painting steel components Knowledge of paints, solvents, coatings,
and basic tools Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Self-motivated self-starter with the ability to take initiative and
work independently Good organizational skills and a strong work
ethic Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed Reliable attendance
and commitment to safety standards Shift & Schedule: First Shift:
Monday – Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Employment Details: This
position begins with a 90-day probationary period , leading to
full-time employment upon successful completion Full-time status
