We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Compliance Specialist in Poway, CA.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Under minimal supervision, this position exercises considerable latitude in performing contract and/or procurement analysis to ensure compliance to regulations, contractual requirements and Company policy.
* Analyzes data and situations, and develops innovative and creative solutions to problems of unusual complexity; advises on actions to be taken.
* Compiles and analyzes data to identify trends and areas for process improvement, and develops new standards or techniques as required; develops appropriate electronic and hard copy reports and records.
* Develops, implements and audits policies, procedures and associated documentation.
* Maintains an awareness of regulatory changes to ensure compliance with appropriate statutes, regulations and Company practices.
* Represent the organization as a prime consultant and external spokesperson for the organization. 6. May make internal or external presentations as required
* Provides direction to professional or technical staff on matters.
* May participate in the selection, development and training of staff.
* Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
* Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
* Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
