One Supplier. -With about 71% of the Earth's surface covered in water and the majority of it unmapped, unobserved and undiscovered, the opportunity to be a part of this new exploration is very exciting. - Challenges with temperature extremes, zero visibility and pressures -that can even crush titanium can make investigation -in the ocean depths even more difficult than travel through space. -The Teledyne Marine Quality Team participates in this path to discovery through their work of manufacturing state-of-the-art marine sensors, instruments and vehicles that operate in these environments, tackling applications from deep water through to manned and unmanned vehicles that travel the world's oceans.Under general supervision, performs product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs. Performs packaging line and manufacturing inspections, and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials. - Inspects and tests product manufactured or processed by suppliers to ensure conformance to requirements and specifications. Identifies material and processes as Conforming or Nonconforming. - Writes simple reports of findings for review. - Enters required data into system. Follows established procedures on routine work, minimal guidance on established procedures. Will receive instruction on new assignments.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Perform incoming inspection of mechanical assemblies, electrical assemblies, PCBA's, sub-assemblies, and partsParticipate in MRB activities related to nonconforming product, including generation of Non-Conforming (NC) ReportsPerform in process auditsReview and approve Certificate of Conformance (COC)Support calibration program and processesConduct shipping auditsNotify errors on procedures, drawings, bills of material, and router to the support teams (Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, etc.)Responsible for completing documentation (shop order, etc.) accurately and timelyResponsible for entering data into the IFS system accurately and timelyResponsible for maintaining high quality standards and workmanshipMaintain excellent communication and working relationship with all departments within the companyMaintain a safe working environmentCommunicating special tooling needed to perform operation that may have not been identifiedOther duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - This position does not supervise other employees.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High school diploma or equivalent. An Associate's degree is preferred.Minimum 2-5 years of related experience in mechanical, PCBA's and electro-mechanical assembliesAt least 2 years of experience in IPC 610 requirementsUnderstanding of inspection techniques, reading, writing and basic arithmetic skillsAbility to interpret blueprints, schematics and perform complex measurements using advanced measurement tools and equipmentExperience with mechanical housings built to tight tolerances (.001")Special Process experience - anodize, paint, urethane, epoxy, casting preferredExperience with cable assemblies built to IPC requirementsExperience with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and Eddy Current meter preferredAbility to interpret blueprints, schematics and perform complex measurements using advanced measurement tools and equipmentExperience using a microscope, multimeter, calipers, height gages, material analyzers, surface measurement tools, time domain reflectometer (TDR) and miscellaneous electrical equipmentAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race,color,religion,religious creed,gender,sexual orientation,gender identity,gender expression,transgender,pregnancy,marital status,national origin,ancestry,citizenship status,age,disability,protected Veteran Status,genetics or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal,state,or local law.
