https://jobs.thyssenkrupp.com/en/job/Powersports-Sales-Supervisor-Poway?id=812396Your responsibilitiesThe Off-road Racing and Power Sports Sales Supervisor is responsible for managing all customer and key accounts in the off-road motorsports area. This individual will provide strategic direction for the Powersports segment and will supervise the powersports team including technical sales, shock technicians, and matrixed reporting for the powersport engineer. They are responsible for representing Bilstein at off-road races, managing racer relationships and contracts, and overseeing Bilstein booth at races. This individual is also responsible for product sales planning and driving sales volume and revenue in-line with growth expectations for the product group or channel. They will collaborate closely with the Product Management and Marketing teams to ensure they understand feedback and needs from the market. The Off-Road Motorsports Sales Supervisor will cultivate new customers to grow channels and develop existing customers to strengthen relationships. All this will be done while maximizing revenue and profit growth in-line with the company's budget and strategic objectives.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage all sales for the Off-road Racing and Power Sports Sales segments including direct to consumer and dealer
  • Attend off-road motorsports races to set up and man Bilstein booth/trailer, network, interact with racers, and provide service to racers with Bilstein shocks. The racing attendance schedule will be set in advanced by the Off-Road Motorsports Manager. Up to 25 races per year.
  • Manage Bilstein sponsored racers as the sponsor liaison including developing and managing contracts, ensuring racer satisfaction, and interfacing between marketing and the racer.
  • Deliver detailed reporting by channel identifying areas of strength or weakness and the actions required as a result to improve sales volumes, revenues and margins.
    • Partner closely with Marketing, Product Management and Sales on new products, trends, and needs for the off-road motorsports channel
    • Establish strategic partner relationships with customers
    • Develop sales strategies and programs
    • Serve as an expert on the Off-Road Motorsports segment and our product range as compared to the competition.
      • Maintain knowledge and keep abreast of trends.
      • Solicit regular customer/racer feedback to gain information on competitors as well as our own performance.
      • Conduct product training seminars for racers, dealers, and race attendees
      • Provide sales and technical service support via phone and e-mail; assist in maintaining CRM database for required support.
      • Performs other duties as requested. Your profile
        • 5+ years of experience of in-depth off-road motorsports experience
        • Strong off-road motorsports knowledge and understanding of racer mindset and track dynamics
        • Understanding of the sales cycle with a track record of achieving sales targets
        • Possess a tenacious and aggressive "hunter" mentality
        • Strong leadership presence and financial acumen
        • Strong, seasoned sales professional with an extremely strong ability to quickly build rapport and develop lasting customer relationships
        • Polished professional with strong presentation skills, building relationships and networks
        • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
