Job Description:
Overall: Under general supervision, performs a broad variety of
analytical, investigative and administrative activities in the
support of international purchasing and inventory optimization
Essential Functions:
- Maintain inventory levels within the min/max for assigned
products.
- Build and receive all international containers from Egypt,
Bangladesh & China
- Schedule all containers leaving from Bangladesh on a monthly
basis
- Provide size breaks for all Bangladesh styles 30-45 days before
shipment
- Reviews and analyzes applicable data to include planned
purchases (Example: Stocked vs. To Order), sales volume and margin
calculation and recommends appropriate changes to selling
price.
- Updates selling prices, per prescribed timeframes, in
coordination with Chef Works regular product price
updates.
- Communicates status of backorders, shipment information for new
and existing products, and container schedules to appropriate
parties.
- Looks for opportunities to continually learn, share best
practices and make recommendations to improve processes and other
operations.
- Meets quality, productivity and technical requirements of the
Inventory and Purchasing Analyst position.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates degree in business, materials, logistics or related
field or equivalent work experience.
- Four or more years previous, progressive administrative
procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with international purchasing with contract
manufacturers. Lean experience at the Green Belt level
preferred.
- Computer proficiency in a Windows 2017 or above environment to
include intermediate level experience with Microsoft Word and
Excel. Experience in the use of order entry database systems or MRP
/ ERP systems required. AccPac / Sage experience
preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the following: problem solving,
organizational skills, negotiation, highly attentive to detail,
multi-tasking, strong verbal, written and interpersonal
communication skills.
- Ability to follow through on tasks to completion and
willingness to ask questions when necessary.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based, fast-paced
environment.

Physical Requirements:
Occasional lifting of 10# or less (less than 5% of the time)
generally at waist level, some above/below waist, none above
shoulders. Must be able to do desk work, which includes computer
work for extended periods of time. Moderate use of telephone / Zoom
/ Slack.
