Pay Range: $35 hr - $40hr


Responsibility:

• 
  
• Draft and/or edit ITS communication for enterprise distribution (e.g., emails, intranet alerts, presentations, etc.).
  
• Prepare and disseminate weekly ITS staff news email.
  
• Maintain content for ITS intranet site and department SharePoint Online site.
  
• Provide internal communication and change management consultation services to ITS colleagues.
  
• Develop collateral materials as part of change management plans such as instructions, training resources, FAQs, etc.
  
• Prepare internal communication for key ITS teams and leaders including the CIO, Information Assurance (cybersecurity) and Workplace Support Services.
  
• Support and create materials and activities that drive employee engagement for ITS staff.
  
• Plan, coordinate, prepare, and facilitate monthly lunch and learn activities.

  Qualifications:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline, and three or more years of progressive professional experience in the marketing or communications field. Equivalent experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
    
  • Must have a general knowledge of marketing and communication principles and concepts along with an understanding of marketing and communications practices, techniques, and standards. Must be customer focused and possess:
    
  • The ability to develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
    
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills to accurately convey information to a variety of audiences.
    
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to influence and guide employees, managers and external parties.
    
  • Excellent computer skills.
    
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required.
