Job Description:
A company is looking for a Certified Coder, CCS, Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Abstracts and assigns diagnosis and procedure codes from patient
records for billing and reimbursement
Audits medical records to ensure proper coding and compliance with
regulations
Collaborates with departmental leadership to provide coding
feedback and education
Required Qualifications
High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of
education/related experience: Preferred
Two years' coding experience: Preferred
Two years' healthcare experience: Preferred
Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or equivalent certification:
Required
