Job Description:
A company is looking for a Pre-Authorization Specialist -
Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Research and review medical policies and verify patient insurance
eligibility and benefits
Initiate prior authorizations and manage correspondence with
clients, patients, and health plans
Document activities related to prior authorization and provide
status updates from payers
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or
higher preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience with insurance claims,
pre-authorization, and medical benefits required
Previous experience with Labcorp's LCLS and/or LCBS strongly
preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
preferred
