Copywriter Intern, you will join an experienced and dynamic Copy
team to develop engaging and persuasive copy for both
business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B)
communications. You must be responsive, flexible and demonstrate
exceptional writing and communication skills. Our internships are
full-time positions, and interns should expect to work
Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week, typically between 8 AM-5
PM. Specific team norms around working hours will be communicated
by your manager. Interns should not have conflicts such as classes
or other employment during the workday. Applicants should have a
minimum of one quarter/semester/trimester remaining in their
studies after their internship concludes. By applying to this

Copywriter Intern role located in San Diego. Key job
responsibilities: Collaborate closely with the Copy team to develop
engaging and persuasive copy for both business-to-consumer (B2C)
and business-to-business (B2B) communications. Assist in writing
and editing copy for emails, SMS texts, web, print/catalog, paid
and organic social, product descriptions and more. Contribute to
brainstorming sessions and help generate innovative ideas for
marketing campaigns. Ensure all copy aligns with brand guidelines
and maintains a consistent tone and voice. Participate in the
review and feedback process to refine and enhance copy
effectiveness. Proofread all pieces for accuracy and tone. Stay
updated on industry trends and best practices in marketing and
copywriting. Requirements Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a
Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in Marketing, Communications,
Journalism or a related field, with an expected graduation
conferral date between Winter 2026-Spring 2027 Able to work up to
40 hours per week throughout the course of a 10 to 12-week summer
internship between May through September 2026. Minimum 3.0 GPA.
Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to adapt writing style for different audiences and
platforms. Creativity and a passion for storytelling through
written content. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced work environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook,
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Demonstrates initiative,
organizational, and time management skills. Strong interpersonal,
written, and verbal communication skills. Demonstrates ability to
collaborate and work effectively in a team environment. Benefits
Compensation: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across
several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position is
$20.00 an hour. Working Conditions Work is performed primarily in
an office environment. Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
Position requires regular, continuous use of a computer. Position
requires regular sitting and standing and walking. Position
requires regular interaction with team members through in-person
meetings, phone calls, video conferencing, or email. This is a
hybrid position. Candidates are expected in the office M, T & Th
with optional work from home days Wednesday & Friday.
