We are rapidly growing our brand and impact in the solar industry and are excited to bring on new team members to further our success.The Solar Inside Sales Representative role is a key component to our teams continued growth by providing our customers with stellar customer support for all their residential and commercial solar needs.Our Benefits Include:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance401K with Employer MatchPaid vacation and sick time8 paid company holidays plus 3 flexible personal days per yearTuition ReimbursementHealth & Wellness ProgramsFlexible Spending AccountsHSA AccountsCommuter Transit BenefitsAdditional Optional Insurance such as Pet Insurance, Legal Assistance, Critical Illness, Home and Auto Insurance to name a few.Employee Discount ProgramsProfessional Training & Development ProgramsCareer Advancement Opportunities We like to promote from within!Job Summary:The Solar Insides Sales role will work in unison with each of our Outside Sales Representatives to support and develop our growing customer baseThe role is an in-office based position where you will be provided a complete workstation including computer, dual monitor setup and landline phone to optimize your ability to work proficientlyUnlike direct sales (B2C), this position will allow you to establish relationships with your customers for residual, future sales for all their solar projectsYou will have a daily activity load that will be supporting several customer accounts you are both assigned to or assisting other general account activities and requestsOur team manages and operates customers throughout all the California region as well as in other territories across the U.S., which provides our sales staff a large customer coverage area to operate and manageYou will learn the structure and operations of supply chain and electrical distribution by being exposed to the advanced Rexel USA operating platform, warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management system, credit department activities, vendor relations, as well as sales and employee software portalsReponsibilies:Ability to exhibit a positive, friendly and helpful attitude with customers and colleagues and be sensitive to their needs both in person, over email and phoneProcess estimates, orders, and general request from customers by phone, email, or in-personSells, markets, promotes, demonstrates products and increases business through product sales to new customers and through additional sales to existing customersProcesses product quotations and provides continuous follow up throughout the completion of the customer's purchasing cycle.Establishes and maintains customer relationshipsLearns and evaluates customer operations to aid in identifying customer objectives, requirements, and preferencesCustomer account management incorporating account contact accuracy, customer pricing, inventory management, credit managementOrder management activities including processing orders with customers, accepting payments, coordinating with branch or vendor warehouse teams, organizing and communicating delivery specificationsAchieves and maintains technical capabilities at required levels, attends customer seminars, schools, and special promotions and participates in sales meetings, vendor seminars and training schools to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge.Able to meet deadlinesExcellent attendance record required and ability to work overtime as neededGathers and reports to management information regarding the company, competitors, pricing, products and current and future market trends as well as assists management and vendors in planning, tracking and implementing sales strategies and developing new marketsSkills, Knowledge, and Education:Previous solar sales, solar operations, or electrical distribution/supply chain sales experience is requiredProficient skills with software-based platforms requiredProficient skills with Microsoft Office Applications preferred (i.e.- Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)High School Diploma is required, Bachelors Degree in Business is preferredEquivalent experience in the industry with a strong sales background will be given serious considerationCustomer oriented and motivated with excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlinesStrong leadership and organizational skillsExcellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills and ability to drive decisions with influenceRexelis a global leader specializing in the multi-channel distribution of electrical products and services for the energy world.
