Hiring ASAP for Composite Technicians for a Defense Contractor in Vista! Pay of $17-$20 hourly( depends on shift) Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm / Monday-Friday (Must be available for overtime when necessary)Experience Level:Entry LevelDescription:Position Summary: Responsible for performing all tasks involved in the fabrication of the company's composite parts. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:--- Prep and maintain tools in accordance with specified guidelines and procedures--- Accurately follow work instructions --- Perform Composite layup such as: Carbon Pre-Prep, Carbon Fibers, Kevlar layup, Fiberglass and Hand Layup--- Trim excess materials from molds, using hand shears or trimming knives--- Perform part build-up free from wrinkles, air pockets, and voids--- Check completed products for conformance to specifications and for defects by checking them visually--- Understands & completes internal & customer required layup documents.--- Records information on appropriate production records, logs and other report forms--- Performs re-work as required--- Cleans and reseals tools using the appropriate release systems--- Be aware of FOD & Tool control at all times--- Continuously demonstrate 5S Application--- Adheres to the highest practicable safety and housekeeping standards.--- Repairs defective products rejected by inspection or test personnel--- Required participation in internal training as needed to perform the duties assigned to this role--- Other duties as assignedAdditional Skills & Qualifications:

• 6 months+ Manufacturing experience required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Hand and power tool experience (hand drill a must)
