PCE, a live events production company, is looking for a Senior Logistics Manager to support our company in Huntington Beach, CA.Business hours are Monday - Friday, 9 am-5:30 pm.This role will report directly to the operations management, performing wide-ranging tasks in a fast-paced environment. All work will take place in the office. Typical hours for this role are Monday - Friday, 9 am-6 pm. Hours for this role may vary, including required nights, weekends, etc. The primary objective is to scrub orders from a paperwork perspective, identify equipment shortages and solve those problems while being budget conscious. Other duties will be inventory management and sub rental coordination.DUTIES--- Will manage company logistics for all offices.
--- Will scrub all outbound orders for accuracy, using compatible equipment, and correct quantity of items.
--- Will have direct reports.
--- Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other leads.
--- Interfacing with sales, site production managers, warehouse supervisors, and company Ops staff.
--- Managing all company sub rental needs, scheduling pick-ups/drops-off from vendors as needed.
--- Identifying sub rental trends and helping inform Ops of when purchasing equipment may be a better path forward.
--- Must be looking for cost savings through efficiency with equipment, trucking, and time management.
--- Rewrite and develop SOPS for the Logistics and Warehouse Department.
--- Develop Warehouse Training Videos for new hires on Processes and Procedures.
--- Assists with trucking logistics daily for both inbound and outbound orders.
--- Books all third party logistics trucking for LTL and FTL as needed.
--- Manages and oversees Rental Inventory Control from both virtual and physical needs.
--- Keeps rental inventory 100% accurate and ingests new assets as needed.
--- Will be involved in missing, lost, and damaged equipment process.
--- Work to instill an attitude of corporation and positivity within warehouse and logistics staff.
--- Asist in the After-Hours Rotation Process.
--- Other duties as assigned by management.REQUIREMENTSApplicant must have extensive history in the Live Event Production market, preferably with a Production Company (or equivalent) in an operations or technical role. Only applications meeting these criteria will be considered.--- 5 years in production as TD/PM or Advanced Skilled Technician.
--- Must be well versed in all aspects of production (audio, video, lighting, staging).
--- Must have worked in an environment that required the systems to set up and struck regularly. Intensive system I/O interconnect understanding is required. Example: You will be required to visualize a FOH set up and see that certain pieces of equipment are missing or redundant or will not connect without appropriate cables. You will need to fix the paperwork to reflect and accurate order to ensure job site success.

--- Knowledge of FLEX Rental Software is a plus but not required.
