The cornerstone of their reputation is their medical and support staff, who choose to dedicate their careers to serving the needs of their patients and community.They have engaged our firm as part of a system-wide clinical transformation to join new leadership in TRULY making a generational IMPACT on how healthcare is delivered in their service area.Our client is seeking one of the top 10% of candidates to provide leadership and help create a robust system wide Data Analytics function and team for the System.Our client is in the middle of major transformation. They are investigating ways to transform its care delivery models and advance its capabilities for conducting data analytics.ENTERPRISE ANALYTICS DIVISION:In support of the transformation, the enterprise analytics division is experiencing its own evolution as well. Armed with a revitalized toolkit, the team investigates opportunities to improve margins, advance operational effectiveness and capitalize on ways to convert data into insight and action. At the same time, the group works tirelessly at inspiring the institution to mature as a data-driven organization by leveraging advanced analytics techniques and data visualization. Our team engages senior clinical/administrative leaders and diverse stakeholders to design impactful analyses and reports aimed at driving decision-making and business strategy. To that end, the department is seeking to make several purposeful, key additions to the team in order to bolster capacity and ensure we are fully prepared to support the System's imperatives.REQUIRED:

• Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent (business, computer science, management of information systems preferable).
• Four years' management experience.
• Experience applying advanced analytic disciplines to financial, consumer internet, and product-level modeling, forecasting, Pro Forma building, pricing, etc.
• Superior business partnering, presentation, communication and emotional intelligence skills.
• Experience building and managing enterprise shared services related to business intelligence.
• Experience working with business intelligence hardware, software and services vendors Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data linking) and PowerPoint (advanced graphing and presentation).
• Ability to interact and communicate with individuals in various functional areas and various levels of management.
• Ability to remain flexible and thrive in a fast-paced and often unstructured environment.PREFERRED:
  • Bachelors, Masters or Ph.D. degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field.
  • Management experience in a health care environment.
  • Prior experience in an acute health care institution within the finance discipline.
  • Experience with decision support systems including cost accounting and performance reporting at patient-level detail.
