• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
• OR Master's degree with 1+ year of experience.
• OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science.Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc., with at least 2 years of experience.Key Responsibilities:
  • Experience with embedded systems, firmware development, or platform software.
  • Design, develop, and integrate SoC firmware features and diagnostics for Qualcomm boot platforms.
  • Enhance and maintain SDK applications and automation pipelines across multiple chipsets.
  • Collaborate with hardware, ASIC, integration, and emulation teams for seamless platform integration.
  • Debug and resolve firmware and driver issues using tools like Trace32.
  • Ensure secure and efficient coding practices, focusing on platform security and performance.
  • Conduct code reviews and prepare technical documentation, including APIs and user guides.Preferred Qualifications:
    • Strong understanding or experience with C.
    • Knowledge of SoC architecture, bootloaders, and real-time operating systems.
    • Experience with ARM architecture, SMMU/IOMMU, and secure coding practices.
    • Familiarity with Linux kernel, device drivers, and multi-threaded programming.
    • Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting (Python, shell).
    • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
    • Open-source project contributions are a plus.Level of Responsibility:
      • Works under supervision with decision-making that may affect work beyond the immediate group.
      • Requires effective verbal and written communication, negotiation, and tact.
